I ended up painting the other wall a Taos blue, which I at first thought might be a bit much, but then decided since I had to live with it, why not do it like I wanted?
I then added a handmade quilt a friend made for me a few years ago, and it all matched perfectly! It's kind of cozy, like a gypsy vardo.
After doing a bit more research on converted cargo trailers, I was pretty amazed at some of the things people have done. Some were simple, and some were as nice as anything I've ever seen.
At 6 by 12, mine's pretty modest, but the storage under the bed is great, and I think it will all be quite comfortable with the full-sized bed.
I'll be heading out Saturday for two or three months camping, so time will be the test of how liveable it all is.
|A real gypsy vardo (wish mine looked this cool on the outside).|
